The Walking Dead season 6: new images reintroduce characters
And all of this assumes that any of our people would have a reason to get to D.C., which, really, they don’t. And that’s an issue. During the show’s first few moments, the group makes a break for it in order to reunite with Maddy (Kim Dickens) and her kids. That’s sloppy writing.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a typical day on the Walking Dead set unless there was plenty of blood and a gruesome zombie stumbling about. It can be disgusting, or thrilling, yes, but scary? But now Rick’s group is fighting for something more than survival. Well, even if we don’t hate them, some are really annoying and on our nerves, that’s for sure. The original series lost that somewhere along the way.
Let’s begin, shall we? The magnitude of it feels huge – but the effect is somewhat lessened later in the episode when the lights… err…do come back on. It has been told that the two will not be in good terms in the next season. Already Daniel Salazar (Rubén Blades) represents the counterpoint to Travis’s tendency to look for peaceful solutions to problems.
It’s also a nice touch that Chris has to run outside and be sick after seeing a Walker shot. And with that in mind, we’re counting down 7 things that we’d love to see happen on the show this year.
In “Not Fade Away“, TV Guide reports that Travis and the rest of his family have no choice but to adjust to the new world they are now in – a place they cohabit with the undead. Who’s Maddy going to save? Madison talked to Liz in one room, while Daniel still insisted on doing his own thing. That’s worrying. There seems to be a different approach, there, coming head-to-head. Well, we will definitely get to see the Hilltop Colony during Season 6.
Andrew Lincoln is rumored to be taking heat from spending too much time making “The Walking Dead” season 6 that it has affected his family life, specifically with his wife Gael Anderson, reported Celebrity Dirty Laundry.
The episode’s conclusion with the arrival of the military could take this into an interesting direction, so I’m looking forward to that next week. I wouldn’t bank on it, though – and frankly, I don’t think we need it.
