‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Spoilers: Greg Nicotero Teases DEATHS In Premiere?
“Things have changed. Whatever you had going for you, that’s over”. “Whatever you had going for you, that’s over”.
A new trailer for The Walking Dead Season Seven has been unveiled. Fans were left in the lurch at the end of Season 6 as Negan’s first act as bringer of terror was to murder one of our favourite characters. The posters are a direct representation of how Rick and his gang are about to pay the price for crossing the group of Negan. “That’s over. Thing is-I am everywhere”, he said during the trailer.
Notably, the trailer and reports suggest that Abraham could be Negan’s victim only. We’ll have to wait until the Season 7 premiere to see for sure if more than one of the good guys is whacked off to the great zombie apocalypse sanctuary in the sky. There has also been some discussion about the man in question being Dwight and not Abraham.
Given the reliability in the past of The Spoiling Dead, some may have thought that Cudlitz was trying to throw viewers off the scent by outright fibbing in the interview. All the deaths that happen in this show happen for a reason, to propel the other characters to a different place. Instead of Abraham, Denise (Merritt Wever) died in the TV adaptation. If we would have shown the deaths, then they wouldn’t have felt our characters in season 7 the way they need to. So, another possibility is that it could be someone that none of the fans have been introduced to as yet.
The Walking Dead season 7 premieres on AMC on October 23.
