‘The Walking Dead’ SPOILERS: Andrew Lincoln & Norman Reedus Talk Season 6

Romero asked if they could shoot the actors from behind, with McBride facing the camera. Photo editor Michele Romero then convinced the guys to give fans of The Walking Dead a very special behind-the-scenes look at what was going on.

The photo actually started as an attempt by Reedus to cheekily hold his co-star’s hand during the shoot as a sort-of practical joke, and only grew from there. That’s right-we’re finally getting them to turn on themselves!

Showrunner Scott M. Gimple added that season 6 will also feature some backstory to events that happened in Alexandria before Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his group arrived.
