The Weeknd Spends Second Week At #1 On Billboard 200
Canadian R&B singer The Weeknd held on to the top spot for the second consecutive week on the weekly U.S. Billboard 200 album chart on Monday, edging out four new entries to the top ten.
Beauty Behind the Madness topped the Billboard 200 despite not actually selling the most full copies.
According to Billboard, Madness pushed another 145,000 equivalent album units bringing its total to 556,000 sps. Beauty Behind the Madness debuted on the Billboard 200 with 410,000 units last week.
Got Your Six also enters at No. 1 on the Top Rock Albums and Hard Rock Albums charts – their third straight leader on both lists.
Travi$ Scott’s first studio album Rodeo got off to a good start at #3 with 85,000 unites (70,000 as pure album sales), while Iron Maiden’s The Book of Souls debuted at #4 with 75,000 units (74,00 as pure album sales).
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

While official data has not yet been published, enough insight is available to confirm that The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” charged past the 1.5 million USA sales mark during the September 4-10 tracking week.
