The Witcher 3: Here’s How To Access New Game + After Installing
Wild Hunt players on Xbox One will be the first to enjoy the New Game Plus DLC released developers CD Projekt RED.
Being the last piece of DLC that “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” will have, the Game Plus mode offers some things to players. If you’re below level 30 upon finishing the vanilla game, you’ll be beefed up to begin again. Some of you might be wondering Why can’t gamers just up the difficulty setting, why do they need a New Game+? well maybe because not everyone wants to start over with a fresh character and no items. CD Projekt is really doing a lot to keep the community alive. In what is surely some form of the universe trying to balance itself out however, the studio is now in a bit of hot water after releasing an official mod kit for the game’s PC version. With the final free DLC finally out, every fan is now looking forward to the expansion’s release later this year! Way back in January, 2014, CD Projekt Red CEO Marcin Iwinski said in an interview with IGN that “The Witcher 3” would be receiving its own version of the REDkit sometime after launch. Momot replies “this is the mod support for the Wild Hunt”. The new Game Plus Mode will have players starting the game again, but this time with more challenges and the game experience will be at a whole new level.
Momot announced that before that New Game Plus mode will be out sometime within this month after gamers already updates the game with its latest patch 1.08 update in both consoles and PC platform.
CD Projekt’s one helping hand is the clearing potion you’re given at the start – a chance to reset your skills and try a different build, with a playthrough’s worth of knowledge of what does what.
Some objects won’t carry over: quest items, books and letters, for obvious reasons, but also trophies, usable items and – most distressingly – Gwent cards. And, of course, enemies will be stronger.
