The Witcher 3 New Game Plus Mode “May Happen”
With this release being “soon”, console owners will also want the answer to when they will get Patch 1.07 will be coming to them which is about to be released for the PC.
Along with the promise of 16 free DLC packs-that players have been getting on a regular interval for weeks now-another thing that CD Projekt Red promised the game’s players and fans is a massive expansion for The Witcher III: Wild Hunt that will give players an extended playtime of up to 30 hours more. The new Zerrikanian outfit for Ciri, was reportedly available prematurely for download earlier last week, which the developer warned against downloading, GameSpot reported.
Last week saw no free DLC for The Witcher 3.
It won’t be included with the latest huge patch (1.07) but that doesn’t mean developer CD Projekt Red will never deliver the oft-requested feature. Instead, the patch merely updated language options in the game’s art book and the studio tossed in a few more wallpapers. Writing on the game’s forum, Community Manager explained, “Some players have been reporting that Geralt’s responsiveness was not up to their preferences so we are introducing a toggle to switch between two types of responsiveness”.

“The patch is said to be the biggest yet with whole new storylines with all the elements you’ve got in the main story”, says game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz in an interview with Game Reactor who notes that the update is nearly the size of Witcher 2 game itself. Its first expansion, “Hearts of Stone” is expected in autumn 2015 and its second, “Blood and Wine“, in 2016.
“And it will be cool, it will be new stories, it will be very emotional stories and I think that people will be happy”, added Tomaszkiewicz.
