‘The X-Files’ trailer: Are you ready for this?

Previous bits of footage have surfaced over the past few weeks which has led to all sorts of conspiracy theory themed speculation. In the most recent clip released last night, we have Mulder popping a very important question – though not the one that “X-Files” fans have wanted to hear for years.

In other X-Files news, it was revealed yesterday by Televised Revolution that the beloved conspiracy theory trio known as The Lone Gunmen would be returning for the revival.

Hey sure, why not? What they are getting ready for we don’t yet know but judging by Scully’s strained reply it’s serious stuff (hopefully involving aliens).

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are back as Mulder and Scully, as are Mitch Pileggi as Federal Bureau of Investigation Assistant Director Walter Skinner, William B.

This week has been a good one for news about the “X-Files” revival.

The teaser features Federal Bureau of Investigation Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in the same room, while Mulder asks ” Are you ready for this, Scully?”, she responds; “I don’t know if there’s a choice.”

A number of guest stars have also come on board for the rival series, including Six Feet Under’s Lauren Ambrose, Community’s Joel McHale and The Americans’ star Annet Mahendru. Davis (The Smoking Man) will also appear in the limited event.
