A group getting ready to see “Finding Dory” at Brenden Concord 14 in the Bay Area were shown a clip of “Sausage Party”, an upcoming R-rated comedy from Seth Rogen and friends. This is because there were a number of large parties that came in wanting to see Finding Dory and the demand for the sequel to Finding Nemo was greater than was apparently expected.

Oh yes, this trailer is full of dark humor as a living potato gets skinned alive, a head of lettuce screams as it is torn in half, some cheese is grated and responds like torture, and some baby carrots who try to escape are eaten alive.
The theater manager stated that the Sausage Party trailer was an honest mistake by a theater manager moving screens around in an effort to accommodate last-minute groups wanting to see Finding Dory.
Finding Dory crowds were shocked by the explicit Sausage Party trailer.
Pixar’s Finding Dory has crossed the $300 million milestone at the USA box office after just 12 days, breaking the record for the fastest animation to hit the mark, previously set by Shrek 2 way back in 2004, by six whole days.
Finding Dory made $136.2M during opening, making it the highest grossing animated debut of all time.
Walter Eichinger said that they truly regret that this happened and they apologize for their mistake. It will open in theaters on August 5th.
