There’s a drone following Ohio State’s Braxton Miller
Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer speaks to the media during the Big Ten Football Media Day on July 30 in Chicago.
Whatever happens, and whoever is chosen as the starter, Buckeye fans can be confident that an informed decision was made to choose their starting quarterback. Those questions ceased when Miller revealed that he would be stepping down from the under-center competition and moving to wide receiver, where he obviously has the hands for the position.
Just three years ago, USC stood atop the college football world in August then collapsed in historic fashion, finishing 7-6 and unranked by the end of the season. Virginia Tech is an elite defensive team that, like every other team the Buckeyes will face in 2015, will be looking to upset the defending champs. Urban Meyer would only say the suspensions resulted from a “violation of team policies”, but ESPN’s Joe Schad reported that they were related to marijuana and academic issues.
Barrett said it would mean a lot for him to get the starting nod against Virginia Tech, especially after falling to the Hokies 35-21 in his second collegiate start last season.
Still, at a moment when the Buckeyes should have enjoyed glory, they faced self-inflicted minor infamy.
When everything was said and done the team’s leading scorer decided to not stick around for his senior season, declaring early for the National Basketball Association Draft.
“His potential at the next level is going to be outstanding”, Johnson said. “Cardale has been there a long time, now”. “That is more according to coach Mick than me because he is around them”. Meyer doesn’t tolerate people wearing blue at the Ohio State facility, so it’s not a surprise that the lone thing at Ohio State’s facility that has anything related to Michigan’s colors would be something you’re supposed to hit repeatedly. “It’s new and in the workings”, Miller’s friend Korey Faulks said.
The offensive line ain’t bad, either.
“These three guys here are flawless examples”, Meyer added.
Miller, the former Heisman hopeful, is apparently out of the running, although that’s not etched in stone. “The coaches have had speakers come and educate us”. “I’m trying to think if we’ve ever had to do that where it’s 50-50”.
“My expectations is he’s an impact player”. Jones called it in the air and said heads. It’s a great problem to have if you’re a head coach: Your pick of two excellent quarterbacks.
