Thighbrow body trend is creating a buzz online
Then the “bikini bridge”, which Urban Dictionary describes as “when bikini bottoms are suspended between the two hip bones, causing a space between the bikini and the lower abdomen”, became the next disturbing trend. The gears of the Internet are starting to spin around a new body buzzword, thighbrow.
So what on earth is it?
The term refers to the small roll of skin that forms above a thigh when a woman sits or kneels, producing the appearance of a thigh “eyebrow”.
Unsurprisingly, the Kardashian/Jenner clan are prime thighbrow examples, thanks to having spent more time than we care to think about on holiday this summer, and their apparent newfound love of high-legged, Eighties-style swimwear.
We have all heard of the “bikini bridge”, belfies and thigh gaps, but now there’s a new trend taking social media by storm with Kylie Jenner, Amber Rose and Rihanna leading the way.
Notable ladies sporting said thigh brow include the likes of fitness babe Khloe Kardashian, her half-sisters Kylie and Kendall, as well as universally-recognized goddesses Rihanna, Beyonce, Nicki et al.
Now you know what it is, please don’t rush to the nearest full-length mirror to check if you can create “thighbrows”, because frankly it’s yet another inconsequential “trend” which draws unnecessary attention to a part of your body you never even knew needed thought before.
According to Look, the trend is positive for body image.
‘Because, it’s pretty natural to sport a thighbrow’.
