This Airbnb apartment is just for you to Netflix and chill
The private room accommodates two guests in a plush room complete with a red Netflix branded bed, a HD projector and surround sound speakers, and a fully stacked mini bar, according to their Airbnb listing.
And, yes, you can buy your own, slightly less official, slightly more unsure, Netflix and Chill? bedding online.
It features a Netflix bedspread, a mini-bar, an AppleTV, Netflix account, one bed and one bathroom for $400 night.
The room, situated in New York’s trendy West Village, has been put together by hosts ART404 and Tom Galle.
– Airbnb is making room for anyone who wants to “Netflix and chill”. “It’s bringing a part of the Internet to a real life experience”, Galle said.
The trio posted the listing at around 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
Netflix and chill is, of course, a euphemism for inviting someone over to have sex with the streaming service on in the background.
So far, it’s only received one booking in February, but he plans to keep the listing active for a few months.
The room is available only for Saturday nights, to maintain exclusivity.
Netflix and Airbnb did not immediately return DNAinfo’s requests for comment.
“We just play around a lot with Internet culture with things that are happening”, Art404 member Moises Sanadria told the New York Daily News.
The apartment had been listed on Airbnb before its transformation, but cost about $150 less since it didn’t provide the unique theme it now does.
