This brand has got fingerprint scanner to a Rs 10000 Smartphone
While there are no details on pricing options and availability, word is that the smartphone won’t cost more than Rs 10,000 ($155 / €140), which would be a great deal considering its specs. Recently OnePlus 2 brought the fingerprint sensor to the mid-range segment of the Indian market, but Chinese brand CoolPad is making the biometric scanner accessible to budget buyers with its upcoming Dazen Note 3 smartphone.
The phone is available in black and white colours and is priced at CNY 899 (Rs 9,300 approx.) in China. The Dazen Note 3 has a 5.5-inch IPS 720p display and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It would also consist of a 13 MP rear camera with a LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone, which has already been launched in China, comes with 2GB RAM, but CoolPad India CEO Varun Sharma suggests that the company may upgrade the memory to 3GB. It also features a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper. Both have a CMOS sensor for better image quality. The new Coolpad Dazen Note 3 is the latest device in the Dazen sub brand of Coolpad.
“Qiku will also launch its own 360 operating system in mid-August”, the company said in a statement.
After launching the Dazen 1 and the Dazen X7 in India earlier this year, Coolpad is set to launch a new phablet called the Dazen Note 3. The company shares an exclusive partnership with e-commerce site Snapdeal in India.
