This Couple’s Wedding Video is a Hilarious Drunk History Parody
Los Angeles couple Jillian Sipkins and Justin Willman didn’t want to waste precious time at their wedding reception answering the “How did you meet?” question.
The fact that all this is narrated and then acted out exactly in the style of “Drunk History” is not only hilarious, but impressive, too, especially considering how much time and effort must have gone into the production and editing process. As they tell the story, their actor friends can be seen re-enacting the scenes while lip-syncing their slurred dialogue.
After polishing off a bottle of whiskey, two bottles of wine and half a bottle of vodka, the couple created a pretty impressive video.
Way more fun than lovingly gazing into each other’s eyes and reminiscing about your first awkward date.
It’s like When Harry Met Sally… but with Instagram comments, nerdy comedy shows, and a magician in a bow tie. Though the pair didn’t initially spark a conversation at the event, six months later they would run into each other again at a second event. But, unlike what you might find in a romantic comedy, the couple still didn’t get together right away.
That’s not the moment they “fell madly in love, went home that night, made out, and had some safe sex”. We didn’t actually at all.
On the eve of their wedding, the newlyweds played their homemade movie for friends and family. “When was that?” William slurs.
“Yesterday we got married”, Willman writes on YouTube.
The couple shared the video at their wedding on September 6.
