This “Ellen” Skit Spoofing Nicki Minaj Is Horrifically Offensive

Ellen has parodied Nicki in the past, dressing up as her for Halloween and doing Anaconda parody videos, and Nicki herself got a kick out of it. I’m sure what will happen here is that Ellen will come out and apologize to anyone she offended, and that will be it for this “controversy”.

“It was just announced that Nicki Minaj is producing a sitcom of her childhood growing up in Queens, New York”, the show’s host, Ellen DeGeneres, stated. Who, in their right mind, would actually clear this to be aired on television? “Also, it’s gross” while Mic said it’s indicative of a lack of respect for black women’s bodies.

The skit begins with an older woman calling out to Nicki Minaj, played by a young actress, who then appears with an abnormally stuffed a**. However, the main joke was that every actor in the sketch had really, really big butts!

It’s not like there are hundreds of other pictures of Nicki Minaj not on all fours. “She isn’t flawless, but she has a certain kind of agency in her videos and performances that the sketch completely strips away, deconstructing Minaj into merely an ass than an actual human being”. Racist & a modern day minstrel show at worst.

The clip, which aired on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, featured a young spoof version of Minaj. “The end result, though, is something more like complete and utter disrespect”.

Yesterday, Ellen DeGeneres aired a skit about an upcoming sitcom around Nicki Minaj’s childhood.

The sketch features DeGeneres a girl with a comically large padded behind – who is joined by her equally large-bummed mother and father… as well as a dog. Watch below, and you tell us whether you think sexualizing little black girls is okay.
