This Google Street View snap revealed sneaky husband’s secret to wife

This was the fate of of Donny Riding who had claimed he had quit cigarettes only to be caught on Google Streetview smoking outside his home in Leasowe, Lancashire.

However, the taxi driver didn’t heed his doctor’s advice and instead began to smoke in secret, unbeknown to his wife Julie.

Julie explained to the paper that on the day in question, the pair had had an argument that started when she found a packet of hobnobs in the vehicle.

Donny Riding from Wirral in North West England is all too familiar with this fact as he was caught rapid having a sneaky cigarette by a Google Streetview camera.

That was really his downfall-because one day, his wife found a lot of snacks in his vehicle, and confronted him about it. He denied any wrongdoing (or wrong-eating), and stormed out of the house, leaving his wife with the most powerful tool at her disposal: the Internet.

The image of Donny’s furtive fag has now been replaced by an up-to-date photo of the Ryding’s house, but can still be seen using Google Map’s archive feature.

Forget about the biscuits, Donny “was covered by a cloud of smoke” as Julie put it, and was forced to spend a couple of nights on the couch afterwards, although she said they can all have a laugh about it now.

“We joke about it now at family parties”, said the woman.
