This is Acura’s NSX Super Bowl commercial
“We wanted to convey the excitement of the NSX to a big Super Bowl audience”, said Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager of Acura, in a statement. Unsurprisingly, it’s the company’s flagship NSX, the upcoming hybrid supercar, which is star of the thirty second spot, with a particular focus on how it sounds. How that still makes them “Super Bowl commercials” and not “ads on the internet” is a mystery I don’t think will ever be solved, but I digress.
“Runnin’ With The Devil” was the second single issued from Van Halen’s groundbreaking 1978 self-titled debut album. When the time on the counter is depleted, potential customers will have access to the Acura NSX configurator. Starting on that same day, those interested in purchasing an NSX can contact an authorized Acura retailer to place their order.
