Thompson sits out for unbeaten Warriors vs Celtics

It took double-overtime to do it, but somehow, some way, the Golden State Warriors figured out a way to outlast the Boston Celtics Friday night at TD Garden.

Kelly Olynyk scored 28 points for Boston. For the bulk of the game, the Warriors led, but then Curry got called for his fourth foul on controversial bad call.

If the Warriors were finally going to lose, it figured to be a night when so much was stacked against them.

“Everybody contributed”, Curry said. “But we had to claw our way to it”.

The Warriors will look to make it 25-0 in Milwaukee as they wrap up a seven-game trip on Sunday (AEST).

The Warriors have won five games on their current “playcation”. This is down from the 18 minutes he played last season with the Warriors.
