Thor Ragnarok will draw influence from planet Hulk
Naturally, this reveal got a lot of fans rather excited, especially after we’ve all seen how powerful Hulk is in “Avengers Assemble” and “Age of Ultron”.
Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3, 2017.
Kevin Feige will produce the film, joined by executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Victoria Alonso, Thomas M. Hammel and Stan Lee.
Penagos showed off a set of props which were immediately recognised as being the clothing and weaponry which Hulk dons and utilises during Greg Pak and Carlo Pagualayan’s Planet Hulk storyline. Their destination is as yet unexplained, but rumour has it that the Planet Hulk comic book arc could reveal possible options, which saw Hulk landing on a distant planet with gladiator battles ensuing for survival.
One of the highlights of the footage was the scene that features Thor and Hulk in full armour and when Hulk is seen jumping at a giant beast, which is likely the rumoured and much-awaited antagonist, fire giant, Surtur. Well, he most certainly does, and what we see of him here is enticing.
One of the best aspects of this film is the cast, with great talents, such as newcomers Cate Blanchett as Hela, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, and Karl Urban as Skurge.
“Thor: Ragnarok” might be an “intergalactic buddy road movie”, but that does not mean Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) will travel without hiccup in the upcoming film.
Principal photography on Thor: Ragnarok began on July 4, 2016, at Village Roadshow Studios in Oxenford, Gold Coast, Queensland in Australia.
