Three Children Die in Minneapolis House Fire

The Minneapolis Fire Department said in a news release that firefighters responded to a fire at 11:57 p.m. Saturday. There were three children trapped in the flames, two already killed from the fire.
“I don’t think any mother, after losing all her children, would even be able to talk at this point”, he said. The identities of the victims are not being released at this time.
The blaze spread quickly, with high heat and “extreme conditions”, Fruetel said.
“Fire doesn’t discriminate”, Fruetel said. “Ovens and stoves are not heating appliances….” Temperatures had hit mid-40s last night in Minneapolis, according to weather reports. The third victim was on the second floor, the fire chief said.
Community leader K.G. Wilson wrote on the home where three young children perished. “The mother is just totally despondent”.
Smith led a group in prayer during a vigil at the house later in the day, the newspaper reported.
