Three found dead in Kolkata house
In a shocking case of triple murder, three members of a family were found dead in Kolkata’s Palm Avenue on Saturday.
“As per his version the incident took place at around 4.30 AM today when he woke up”, he said.
The crime was discovered only after the room did not open in the morning and family members called police.
Jessica’s husband Neil Fonseca, who was found critically injured, claimed that his wife killed her two sons before killing herself.
This is right opposite CPM leader and former chief minister Budhhadeb Bhattacharjee’s residence.
The blood-soaked bodies of Jessica Fonseca (49) and her twin sons – Tarren and Joshua – were found lying in bedroom of the third floor apartment with their throats slit. The officer said Neil’s condition is critical but he has given a written version at the hospital of what transpired as he is unable to speak.
The mother reportedly killed her twin sons, police sources claim. Neil also told police that his wife suspected him of having affairs with several women.
In her statement to the police, Jessica’s sister Shabana, who lives in the same building, said that the family had dinner in a restaurant and returned home late the previous night. While there were as many as four other people inside the house, none of them heard any noise from the room from where the bodies were recovered.
Senior police officers rushed to the spot and sniffer dogs were also brought in by officers of the homicide squad.
Police are recording Jessica’s husband statement, who according to doctors has received medical aid and is in a condition to give details.
