Marshall University women’s soccer players Jenna Dubs, Kelly Culicerto and Sydney Arnold earned National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division I All-Central Region honors, the organization announced Friday. The senior forward from Harrogate, England, was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team for the third-consecutive season and took home the conference’s top offensive honor for the second time in three tries.
Boaz set BYU records for goals against average and save percentage and was part of a defense that allowed the fewest goals in BYU history along with the second-most shutouts in program history.
West started 19 of 20 games played and lead the team with six goals and six assists for 18 points. A two-time BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year, the Tring, England, native earns First Team All-Region accolades for the second-straight year. Jones led the Cowgirls with 25 goals and 15 assists on the year.
Stephens earns his first-career All-Midwest Region honors.
At midfield, Stiever started in all 22 games and combined for a total of 12 points with four goals and four assists with 22 shots on goal. A three-time all-region honoree overall, Kearney-Perry was named to the third team following the Red Storm’s NCAA Tournament run in 2013.
LSU’s dead ball specialist scored a career-high five goals as the team’s third-leading goal scorer this fall, including three goals directly from free kicks as one of the nation’s most lethal free-kick takers. Last season, Poulin was named to the All-Region Second Team. Stinson finished the season with an 0.51 goals against average. Sydor enters his senior campaign starting all 33 matches in which he has played over his two seasons at Middlebury, sporting a 21-5-7 record with 16 shutouts in over 3,000 minutes.
