Three Lifeless, More Than 20 Injured in Shootings, Stabbings in Israel. News
The incidents follow a day of violence on Monday that saw six people wounded in three stabbing attacks in Jerusalem, two of them seriously.
Police officers stated two people have been killed when two men opened fired & stabbed passengers on a bus within the Jerusalem neighborhood of Armon Hanatziv.
One of the wounded is said to be in critical condition, whilst one of the two terrorists was killed and the other is in a critical condition. A second man, 45, later died at Shaare Zedek hospital.
Three people were lightly injured and two people suffered from shock. According to reports, the assailants first attempted to commandeer the bus before attacking passengers. The attacker was shot and seriously wounded by a security guard.
Tuesday’s incidents mark one of the worst days in the current outbreak of violence. An employee of the Bezeq phone company, he used a company auto in the attack, Ynet reported.
An eastern Jerusalem resident employed by a local rehabilitation center stabbed pedestrians at a bus stop on Ahuza Street, the city’s main thoroughfare.
At least one man was killed in a car-ramming attack in central Jerusalem as violence escalated in the city.
A few 26 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli police and security forces in that time, including ten identified by Israeli authorities as attackers, and the rest in clashes between stone-throwers and the Israeli military.
Attacks in Jerusalem and Raanana have resulted in two fatalities and over 20 injuries, as the prime minister announce he will convene the security cabinet for an emergency meeting this afternoon.
