Three vehicles appear to levitate and crash on a China road

The two vans and a auto are travelling along a road in Xingtai in central China, Nine News reported. The video began making the rounds Saturday and it wasn’t long before the Internet was abuzz with rumors of some sort of supernatural occurrence.

At the same time the front of another vehicle is pulled upwards, while the back end of a auto in another lane moves.

After a few seconds the vehicles are thrown back to the ground, with the largest van flipped onto its side.

It is not clear whether anyone was injured in the incident but you can see pedestrians hoping to cross the busy road retreat quickly when the vehicles start jumping. Pedestrians were confused and they stepped back seeing the weird moment.

But the viewers are divided over the unusual footage, with many offering their theories behind the apparent levitation.

Chinese media reports confirmed the explanation, saying that the incident was caused by a piece of steel cable, which was caught up in the brush of a street sweeper.
