Ali noted that it took more than a year before Chicago officials on Tuesday released footage of the police shooting death of a black teenager. A Hennepin County District Court Judge has granted the county attorney’s office until Monday at noon to making a charging decision on the suspects.
Shots were fired early Wednesday morning near the scene of a Minneapolis protest for the second night in a row, but there were no reports of injuries, police said.
