Throwback Thursday with Bernie Sanders
CNN’s Jake Tapper reported earlier this year that she was one of the leading drivers of the TPP when Secretary of State. He’s still drawing crowds of thousands to campaign rallies.

The first one he brought up: The Glass-Steagall Act, which separated commercial and investment banking until it was repealed under President Bill Clinton.
It wasn’t until Clinton acknowledged the support that Bernie Sanders was receiving on the issue of free trade that Clinton turned her back on the deal. Progressives view re-instating that Depression-era law as a key part of reforming Wall Street.
But Sanders said his message is resonating with “working-class Republicans” who face the same struggles that his campaign platform is so directly targeting.
