Thunder star Russell Westbrook pushes taunting fan on court

Although Murray was eclipsed by Paul George’s individual efforts (and arguably his own teammate – Jokic) his efforts were none the less impressive. And after a Westbrook driving layup got the Thunder within 122-121, Nikola Jokic grabbed an offensive rebound off a missed Murray pull-up jumper and sank two free throws with 5.6 seconds left. Denver lost its previous two games by a total of three points.
OKC’s series with Denver is knotted at a game apiece this season, with each team winning at home.

Westbrook had 20 points, 21 assists (!), and nine rebounds. Those 10 points came during a personal 10-0 run from Murray late in the game when baskets were hard to come by. When Westbrook realized that the ball was going to Harris, he high-tailed it to try and recover, but in the National Basketball Association, all you need is a inch of daylight to get your shot off. But since the NBA Players Association did not want to broadcast the event and potentially embarrass whomever was picked last, the draft was kept in-house.

Westbrook responded by pushing the fan out of the way, as seen in the video above.
In the loss at Washington, the Thunder failed to score 100 points for the first time in seven games, as Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony managed to make just 12 of 39 shots from the field (30.8 percent) between them and combine for 32 points.
The NBA said it would review the incident, according to ESPN. Players can’t go into the stands to challenge fans, but conversely, fans can’t come on to the court.
