How Angie Bowie and Celebrity Big Brother producers lowered the cultural bar.

David Bowie died Sunday after an 18-month battle with cancer. Later on, in the Diary Room, she continued: ‘I hope Gemma goes home. I haven’t seen him in so many years, I can’t make a big drama out of it; I just feel like an era has ended with his passing.

She added: ” Stardust is gone”. They trailed Tuesday’s episode, at the end of Monday night’s show, offering viewers a clip of Angie Bowie, the singer’s first wife, breaking down in tears in the diary room shortly after she has been told the news off camera by her agent.

Tiff got confused, thought Ang was referring to David Gest and to say she lost her sh*t would be an extreme understatement.

Despite being embarrassed, Tiffany then declared: “I wanted to f**k you the minute I saw you”.

“Shame on Channel 5 for turning David Bowie’s death into a joke”, wrote Piers Morgan, while Philip Schofield branded the incident “the most appalling misunderstanding”. And I didn’t mean it in a way I was going to try to homewreck or anything like that.

Pollard recognized that Bowie had been crying and asked what was wrong.

During a new task Big Brother played recordings of the housemates discussing each other, and the culprits had to step forward and explain their comments.

They started searching the house and found Gest resting in his bed, very much alive.

“You gotta do me a favour, you can’t say a word – David’s dead”, Bowie told Pollard. “Why the f*** would she do that?”

He said: “She only wants to come to talk to us now because she’s hungry and wants some chicken”. That is so f***ing -! “She didn’t know who I was talking about”.

That is when another contestant went to Angie, who said it was her ex-husband David that had died.

Angie had been married to Bowie from 1970 to 1980 and they have a son, Duncan Jones, together.

He said: “My time here has now expired”. The house is not fun any more. I’m not really into fighting, Tiffany is insane!

But it only got better or worse. I don’t want to be put on the spot.

And Christopher wasn’t the only one upset with the tension in the house, with Jonathan Cheban actually walking out of Celebrity Big Brother.

He complained: “I hate pink, bubblegum and glitter”.
