Tiger Shroff Already Feels Pressured By Student of the Year 2

Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar Monday announced sequel of the 2012 film Student of the year (SOTY) with actor Tiger Shroff as the male lead. “He is quite excited about it (sequel) as it’s a Karan Johar film”, an inside source shared. He tweeted, “It’s OFFICIAL….” While KJo had directed the earlier film, Punit Malhotra, who has directed the Imran Khan-Sonam Kapoor starrer, I Hate Luv Storys, and Imran and Kareena Kapoor’s Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, will be taking charge of the sequel.

After Karan’s news, the original cast of SOTY took to Twitter to congratulate Tiger. Now this has set gossip mills buzzing about who the other students will be. “In all possibility, it will be Sara Ali Khan (Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter) and Jhanvi Kapoor (Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s daughter)”. However, a few days back, speculations were rife that the head honcho of Dharma Productions had offered the lead role to Tiger Shroff.
