Tiger Woods Plays a Lot of Video Games These Days

Although he is far from giving up hope of being able to resume his glittering career, Woods is adamant that he never wants to have any further operations in a bid to extend his playing days, and he is resigned to calling it a day if he is not fit enough to return to the world stage.

Unfortunately for Woods, he may have to make that choice sooner than later.

However, Mediate – who says he has not spoken to Woods in years – has also struggled with back problems for much of his career and believes his wisdom could help Woods reprise his former glory.

Woods said he had another procedure on October 28 on the same area due to discomfort. The most important thing, though, is that I get to have a life with my kids. “And two, even if I don’t come back and I don’t play again, I still want to have a quality of life with my kids”. That to me is special. “I also had to reset the clock each and every day and ‘OK, here we go, this is a new day and this is taken for what it is'”.

The Dallas-born player still looks at Woods’ domination as the epitome of success. At a minimum, he wants to be an active father, restoring the kind of basic functionality that he doesn’t have now.

The Hero World Challenge is taking place this week at the Albany Golf Course in the Bahamas and will be hosted by none other than the G.O.A.T. himself, Tiger Woods.

“I walk 10 minutes on the beach”, Woods said.

“I kidded him because based on media reports I read before I came down here this morning, I thought he was actually dying”.

“Anyone I’ve ever talked to who has had procedures like I’ve had, they say the same thing: you don’t know”.

When asked about a return to golf, Woods said: “I’ve no answer”.

Reflecting on his past, Woods told Rubenstein that he often came back prematurely from previous injuries, chalking it up to young bravado. “I was pleased to validate that Australian win so quickly a year ago and gain some momentum”, he said.

At 39 years old, golf fans may never see Tiger Woods play competitive golf again and he too is aware of this possibility. He acknowledged that he should have been more honest with Nordegren about their relationship, their mutual frustrations and that transparency may well have saved their marriage.

This might be quite an understatement and his close friend and rival Rory McIlroy insists golf without Woods doesn’t bare thinking about. “And I can’t travel because I have the kids-my off weeks I’m devoted to my kids-and I have to be here”. “I was practicing out back at my house”. To watch my kids play sports and to grow up and participate and even teach them how to become better, oh my God, it gives me so much joy.

Woods said he spends most of his time playing video games, and has not done any rehabilitation work on his back and that physical activities were limited. It was awesome to play with Jack (Nicklaus) and play with him in his last PGA and he played with Gene Sarazen in his last PGA.
