Tiger Zinda Hai Review: You can’t miss this Salman Khan film

Salman Khan latest box office blockbuster ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ may well be on its way to be the highest grossing Bollywood movie of the year. Given the planned release, famous star cast and Holiday season, we will see a big box office performance by the film compared to the previous film of Salman Khan.

Tiger Zinda Hai has received a mind blowing opening on Friday which is today. The two days collection of the action thriller stands at Rs 69.25 crore net approx.

As per boxofficeindia.com, the number of cinema-goers in India has gone down to 22.5 crore in 2017 from 34 crore in 2013. So we can just imagine that Tiger Zinda Hai will enjoy an awesome first weekend. The movie budget is 150 crores. On the flip side, the film has very predictable story. The action adventure unfurls after India’s diplomatic corps pick RAW agent Tiger and Pakistan ropes in ISI operator Zoya for this risky mission of protecting nurses securely from the fatal fear based oppressor Abu Usman, played by UAE-based Iranian actor Sajjad Delfarooz.

It is one of those larger-than-life films which people would want to go to cinemas to watch.

The movie, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar is a sequel to Kabir Khan’s bockbuster Ek Tha Tiger.

Across the country, most of the theaters are housefull one day before the release. Along with his lovely co-star Katrina Kaif, the actor is reprising the character of their 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger in “Tiger Zinda Hai”.

Tiger Zinda Hai also becomes the third most successful opener for Khan after 2015’s Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo (Rs 39.5 crore) and 2016’s Sultan (Rs 36.5 crore). A lot swings on the line with Tiger Zinda Hai. While talking to Mid-Day about the same, the Tiger Zinda Hai star said, “We are looking into it [hiring new talent] actively”.
