Tim Kaine attends private fundraiser in Maine
Virginia Senator and Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine spoke to a group of millennials about workforce development in Portsmouth today.
Kaine, a former Virginia governor and current USA senator, is holding an event at Iowa State University in Ames.
Kaine will speak at 12:30 p.m.an event at Exeter Town Hall, where he will “lay out the stakes of November’s election”.
The campaign is not releasing the time or location of Tim Kaine’s private fundraising event on Thursday.
While he was there, Kaine discussed Hillary Clinton’s economic plan and hit on what he says are the big differences between her and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
According to her campaign website, Clinton hopes that “familes with income up to $125,000 will pay no tuition at in-state four-year public colleges and universities”.
Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence will also be in Iowa on Monday in Mason City and Dubuque.
