Tim Tebow Shares Emotional Visit With Young Gators Fan At Children’s Hospital
Nathaniel Nelson, 13, was clearly overwhelmed by seeing Tebow that he immediately broke into tears.
Tebow surprised a young Florida fan, who was laying on a Florida pillow and had a Gators blanket to boot, at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
The best part of this video, however, might simply be the thought that there are real people in the world who will take Tebow’s presence in Jacksonville as a sign that he might be trying out for the Jaguars.
So in case you’re wondering what Tim Tebow is doing these days, he’s still busy being a hero.
Tebow’s foundation posted the video you see above on Tuesday evening showing the quarterback walking into the hospital room of a Florida Gators superfan named Nathaniel.
Tebow told Nelson that he had received multiple messages from people telling him what a special young man he was and that he just had to meet him. Tebow toys with Nathaniel’s Gators stuffed animals and tells Nathaniel he has heard so much about the boy.
“Wow. Thank you for visiting me”, a stunned Nathaniel replied.
The Eagles could use Tebow’s help in the red zone with DeMarco Murray injured, but his inspiration to children on hospital beds is making a real impact.
