Time Square Spider-Man takes on nemesis, Harassing Guy
Spider-Man swung into action – appropriately, in front of a Toys R Us – and tackled the jerk, who we will call “Doctor Ass-Crack”, for obvious reasons. According to the New York Daily News, the pedestrian was the antagonist.
“The guy was harassing a number of performers, other costumed folks”, Goldberg said. The web-slinging protector also kicked and punched the mischief maker.
The NYPD could not immediately comment.
The Spider-Man character in Times Square has been on the wrong side of the law in the past, but on Thursday he stepped up and took down a heckler.
Goldberg captured the epic battle and posted it on Twitter, saying, “Spider-Man saves the day in Times Square”.
One man was charged with slugging a police officer while dressed as Spider-Man in Times Square in July of last year after being told to stop hassling tourists for more money for taking photos with him.
It is not known who the man behind the mask was and there were no immediate reports of any arrests.
In April, Junior Bishop, the alleged costumed menace, sought $1.5 million from the city for what he claimed was a false arrest that led to a five-day lock-up.
