Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Host ‘SNL,’ Bringing Past Lessons
“People say that Hillary is a bitch”, Fey began.
In the skit 2015 Hillary settles into bed for the night safe in the knowledge that she almost has the Democratic nomination locked up.
Poehler’s “strong yet feminine” laughter wakes up McKinnon, and she updates the past Clinton on the current state of affairs.
Fey and Poehler quickly responded by launching into Swift’s jam and introducing their own “Dope Squad”.
It’s nice to see Poehler and McKinnon together, but when Tina Fey shows up as a clueless Sarah Palin, we’re all reminded that anything is possible in an election year.
Greeting each other with bubbly “Hello Hillary”, past Clinton takes notice of some differences in present-day Clinton, like her hair and laugh. The two embrace, 2015 tells 2008 about Donald Trump, and, in perhaps the best bit of it all, crushes 2008’s phone as she prepares to send some emails.
Sisters, which stars Fey and Poehler and also features McKinnon, fellow cast member Bobby Moynahan and former SNL star Maya Rudolph – who also appeared on Saturday night’s show – is in theaters now.
With PZ-4CO, Fey joked that her character’s name seemed Italian.
The scene is Christmas Eve at the Clinton house, on Saturday Night Live’s holiday episode.

Holding up her action figure, Poehler said, “Okay, I’ve read this guy’s name three times, I don’t remember it. I don’t care”.
Unfortunately, a good quality version of the clip is not available in the United Kingdom because NBC is like that, but you can watch this one below.
