‘Titanfall 2’ (ALL) Introduces New Titans – Trailer
The sequel to 2014’s highly praised first-person shooter and mech mashup game is set to release in a couple months, and Respawn Entertainment seems eager to get players on board with the title. Playable offline, the single player campaign in Titanfall 2 will let fans step out onto The Frontier as a Militia rifleman with aspirations of becoming an elite Pilot.
The latter, Scorch, is a slow, lumbering giant that “manipulates fire as it’s primary source of defensive and offensive abilities”. This gives the fighting a great deal of variability, and players have to develop different skills and tactics for each Titan, making for a much more complex game.
Thanks to a press release from EA, we now know the names of all six Titanfall 2 Titans, as well as a brief description of each.
The new Titans being shown off within the trailer are Tone, Northstar, Legion, Ronin, Ion, and lastly Scorch.
Northstar is a master of both flight and precision kills.
Scorch and Ion, as previously mentioned, were both included in the game’s multiplayer test, so fans should have a good idea of their capabilities.
Legion uses ballistic abilities focusing on defense and control.
Titanfall 2 releases on October 28th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Ion, on the other hand, is all about managing energy resources between its various weapon systems, which include a massive chest-fired laser.
