Titans announce deal with Mariota
“We were confident that Marcus would be under contract before training camp, and we look forward to him starting his career on time with his teammates when we open camp next week”.
“Thank you to the Tennessee Titans organization as well as my agent for making a dream come true”, Mariota said in a team release.
Mariota says, “I am very grateful and honored to have this opportunity”. This season there are the usual advancements in the game on both the console and also mobile versions, but one thing I usually look forward to is to see where NFL Rookies rank in the game. In short, adding offset language protects teams from having to pay out the full guaranteed portion of a player’s contract if they happen to decide not to pick up the final year of his five-year contract. Mariota will be giving every chance to start for the Titans in 2015.
Leading up to the 2015 NFL Draft, everyone believed Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly would do whatever it took to get a hold of Marcus Mariota. The move comes after negotiations stalled over Mariota’s refusal to accept so-called offset language in his contract.
Mariota received a number of accolades while playing at the University of Oregon, including the 2014 Heisman Trophy.
