To-play Titanfall aiming for Asian markets
It’s possible this new game in the franchise will only be offered in specific regions such as in Asia.
EA Games has announced Titanfall Online, a free-to-play version of the popular 2014 shooter coming exclusively to PC in asian territories.
Developer Nexon GT is known for its free-to-play games like “Sudden Attack” and “Talesweaver”.
Large online game company Nexon confirms that it’s partnered with Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment to release Titanfall Online, a free-to-play version of the multiplayer experience released by the two teams last year across PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
The actual Titanfall 2 is projected to appear probably in late 2016 or in 2017, depending on how many new things Respawn wants to add to its already successful recipe.
Details are scant, but we do know it’ll be available on PC and called, unsurprisingly, Titanfall Online. The untitled sequel was confirmed by Respawn CEO and founder Vince Zampella back in March.
Nexon is committed to providing players with high-quality, deeply creative and entertaining games.
Today’s announcement marks the third collaboration between Nexon and EA, building on the continued success of EA SPORTS™ Federation Internationale de Football Association Online 3, now the #1 online sports game in Korea.
