Today is One of the Busiest Travel Days of the Year
He’s originally from Pennsylvania, and though he isn’t traveling there for Thanksgiving this year, he is keeping an eye on the gas prices.
A year ago, the average gas price in MI for Thanksgiving was $2.87 per gallon.
While AAA does say many people will be on the roads today, fewer will be in the skies.
In Berks County, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline stood at .28 on Wednesday.
There are days when travel becomes more hectic than usual and those days would be the holidays. And that’s not even the lowest of the low – The cheapest price that has been spotted in the last 24 hours is .76 in Champlin, Minn.
Currently, the lowest price in Colorado, $1.64 per gallon can be found in Parker, he said. “We’ll just budget our money for travel”.
“The law is explicit”, the CHP said in a statement.
It would also be the cheapest Thanksgiving for gas prices since 2008, Patrick DeHaan, GasBuddy’s senior petroleum analyst, told Patch.

“If you’re traveling with children a lot of airports actually have a family lane”, Chris said.
“Wherever you can save a penny it helps”, he said. “I’m definitely enjoying that”. Gas prices are bucking the usual trend and keep going down.
One traveler, Steve Carder, said he’s noticed more people on the roadways this year, doubling his time to and from work.
Airlines for America, the industry trade organization for the nation’s leading airlines, projected that 25.3 million passengers will travel globally on US airlines during the 12-day Thanksgiving travel period, the highest number since the recession. This marks the seventh consecutive year of growth for Thanksgiving travel.
Steven Koval said, “It’s really insane out there, the traffic, everyone’s in a rush, you know it’s New Jersey driving”.
“I think a lot of what has brought us here is ample USA oil inventories”.
At Clinton National, the busiest day will be Sunday, when 4,300 passengers are scheduled to depart, said Carter, the airport spokesman. The American Automobile Association estimates that at least 46.9 million Americans will travel more than 50 miles from their home, with close to 42 million people driving to their destinations.
