Monday has the chance to be messy and it’s a day we’re keeping an eye on in the First Warn 5 Weather Center. Temperatures will dip into the 20s Thursday night and only top out in the low to mid 30s New Year’s Day.
Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Thursday, with a high near 41. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Cloudy, with a high near 35. A strong low pressure system from the west moves into our region Monday, bringing more rain and possible storms. Cloudy, with a low around 27.
Wednesday Night: Rain likely, mainly before 10pm. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
6/10: Another mild-ish late December day is somewhat salvageable despite possible drizzle and p.m. shower threat. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. Of course all good things must come to an end, and rain looks to return to the forecast by the end of next week. Cloudy, with a high near 50.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear skies and frigid temperatures continue, with an overnight low of 21 degrees. Star Lake has an 80 percent chance of more snow.
