Toddler Found Loaded Gun, Fatally Shot Himself
Hospital workers contacted Richmond Heights police at about 1 p.m.to report that the child had been shot.
For the second time in less than a week, police in north St. Louis County are investigating the shooting death of a child. The as-yet-unidentified boy was pronounced dead at St. Mary’s Hospital, police said.
The deadly shooting comes just a week after a 9-year-old, Jamyla Bolden, was fatally shot as she did her homework in Ferguson August.

“As a parent myself, it chokes you up to hear about it happening again…but we don’t know if it was an accident or a homicide”, Schellman said.
