Tom and Georgina Cleverley Left “Shaken” After Armed Robbery

Armed with baseball bats, the gang demanded the couple handed over £175,000 in jewellery before demanding the keys to their high performance cars and making off.

England global Cleverley, 26, and Georgina, 29, watched in fear as the raiders got away with a £15,000 Cartier bracelet, an Audemars Piguet watch worth £50,000 and a £10,000 Hermes Birkin handbag.

“Tom and Georgina weren’t physically hurt but it was a horrific ordeal for them – especially as their little girl was with them. They tend to keep a low profile, but it’s obvious they have been targeted due to their wealth”.

The 26-year-old’s former Manchester United team-mate Sam Johnstone recently had his £40,000 Marcedes A Class AMG stolen during a break-in at his Sale home, while in Bruges for August’s Champions League qualifier.

There are contradicting reports as to whether Cleverley’s soapie star wife, Georgina Dorsett, was also present at the time.

“It is an exclusive area and everyone will be reviewing their security after this”.

The midfielder, his wife and young daughter were left terrified after the thugs reportedly broke their way in and plundered tens of thousands worth of designer gear and a Range Rover.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed it is investigating the break-in, which is reported to have taken place on Friday evening: “Police were called following a report of a break-in. An investigation is ongoing”.
