Tom Brady Comments on Peyton Manning After Al Jazeera Doping Report
Manning is alleged to have taken HGH shipped to his wife in 2011, although the quarterback has denied Al Jazeera’s report.
“I fully support Peyton”, Brady said. “The allegation that I would do something like that is complete garbage and is totally made up”, Manning told ESPN’s Chris Mortensen Saturday. “Which means that Al Jazeera or Charlie Sly, whoever he wants to sue, knew that what they were saying was false or had what the courts call reckless regard, they just didn’t care about whether it was true or false”, said Catlin, who specializes in defamation cases.
Sly also said he recanted his story to Al Jazeera when he realized that it had used information he had “made up” to British hurdler Collins. Those allegations are not true. Added Peppers: Its completely erroneous and I think its irresponsible journalism, in my opinion. Another player named in the report, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison, said he has looked into legal action only to be told it wouldnt be worth the cost. I don’t believe Manning did what he’s accused of doing. Sly claimed the packages were sent to Manning – then a player for the Indianapolis Colts – under his wife’s name, Ashley Manning. It makes me sick that it brings Ashley into it, her medical history, her medical privacy being violated.
“I have a lot of personal thoughts that really are personal to me”, Brady told WEEI radio on Monday morning.
The clinic’s owner, Dr. Dale Guyer, has already released an official statement on Sunday, giving emphasis that the pharmacist had never been an official employee of his clinic. “Like I said, he’s a very mentally tough guy”, Brady said, per Reiss.
However, as Florio points out, any formal investigation by the National Football League is going to be facing a tough challenge to prove that Manning used HGH. Manning categorically denied the allegations in a Facebook posting and in an ESPN interview December 27, and which have since been denied by the person who made them. “Nobody has more respect for Peyton than I do”. “Dark Side”, linking him to an anti-aging clinic in Indianapolis in 2011, when he was recovering from neck surgery that threatened his career.
Manning acknowledged that he went to the Guyer Institute in 2011 to use a hyperbaric chamber, which was recommended by trainers and doctors with the Indianapolis Colts.
“He’s been a great player for this league, for his teams, for his organizations”, the Patriots’ star continued.
