Tom Brady releases playoff hype video that might scare Chiefs fans

Kansas City, despite recently winning just their second playoff game in the last 23 years, sits well ahead of the gimpy Steelers.

The last time the Patriots and Chiefs met, the Chiefs blew them out – 41-14 on Monday Night Football last September.

The Patriots are going to need more than a cold Atlantic wind though to stop the Chiefs defense, but they’ve been in this position before – many, many times before. “This is a great team we are playing”, said Tom Brady earlier in the week.

New England is 15-4 SU in its last 19 games. He’s a force both on the field and off. He collected 72 passes for 1,176 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, which is pretty much the production that we’re accustomed to seeing from him. And if the Chiefs can control the clock as well with their running game, this could be one year when the Patriots fall at the first in the postseason.

The Chiefs know Saturday won’t be easy when they travel to Gillette Stadium to take on the Patriots in the divisional round. The Chiefs dominated, and because they’ve done it recently, the Kansas City roster and staff must have confidence they can do it again-even if everything is different this time around. Quarterback Alex Smith has overthrown Wilson on some deep balls this season, including one against the Texans. This year, both the Patriots and the Chiefs are ranked first and second in the league at taking care of the football. Still, they aren’t expected to beat the Tom Brady-led New England Patriots when the two teams meet on Saturday. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a late lead, but I’ll take the Patriots to win and cover. Make it twelve in a row for Andy Reid and the Chiefs as the undermanned Patriots come up short. Johnson said that win does give them confidence going into the matchup. Linebacker Tamba Hali did not practice due to swelling in his knee and linebacker Justin Houston participated in warm-ups, but did not practice.

The Kansas City Chiefs will enter Saturday’s match with a 12-5 record this National Football League season. “Sometimes it comes from experience and playing a lot and being around, and the more you play, you just kind of bank all that stuff and you learn from watching other games and guys and what they do and talking about situations”.

Julian Edelman should be back, but there’s growing concern about how effective Rob Gronkowski will be – if he plays at all.
