The state of Thomas’ hip during a physical was a holdup in completing the trade that sent Kyrie Irving to the Celtics.
Thomas, 28, averaged a career-best 28.9 points per game last season, his sixth in the National Basketball Association. So for me, this is Isaiah Thomas confirming that he is still dealing with the hip injury.
