Tom Clancy’s The Division Beta Rewards Revealed
The Division open beta came to a close early Monday morning on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
According to the company most players were engaged for about 4 hours and 52 minutes on average and about one-third of that was spent exploring the Dark Zone where Player versus Player engagements are encouraged.
Over 63,309,800 contaminated items were successfully extracted out of the Dark Zone.
The Division beta had 6.4 million agents to be exact.
The open beta lasted over the weekend for the three platforms. There was also a reward rolled out for players who ventured in the Dark Zone, which is the PVP section of the game in online multiplayer mode. This isn’t to criticize those who chose to go rogue and attack fellow players, but when everyone does it, such as in DayZ or Rust, it becomes tedious and boring. When you take into account the fact that the Destiny beta was available not only for the PS4 and Xbox One, but also the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, The Division’s higher player count remains impressive, though the PC audience likely held its own weight in terms of numbers.
Expansion III: Last Stand – Stay tuned for more information. By the way, neither Ubisoft nor developer Massive Entertainment have ever detailed what this gift for the gamers was, so we’re still here wondering what we’ll unlock in the complete game when it releases on March 8. You can tell just from walking around that a huge amount of detail has gone into creating the world itself and the two main story missions were fantastic to play through.
