Tom Cruise Confirms Mission: Impossible 6
The newest installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation opens in theaters this weekend, and as always talks of a sequel have already made the press rounds. The most hyped scene, which has Tom Cruise hanging off the side of an Airbus A400, was extremely risky – Cruise was strapped on only via a thin wire rig – but Cruise says it was worth it. “When we started I said lets not try to top anything, lets just make a good story, but we definitely pushed it right on the edge with this one“.
In the film, the Impossible Mission Force has been disbanded and Hunt and his team face off with the sinister Syndicate organisation.
Get an inside look at this insane clip of Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg trying to escape assassins on specially modified motorcycles, drifting and racing through the narrow streets. In order to catch up on films with this Friday as their release date, we’re excited to share the following trailers with you: Mission: Impossible 5 – Rogue Nationand more.
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation is slickly bolted together by McQuarrie and editor Eddie Hamilton. I would like to get back into those jets. t would have to be practical. After all, it’s a spy movie and those types of films tend to make at least one stop in the bedroom.
Also invaluable is returning “MI” vet Simon Pegg as Benji, the wise-cracking (and safe-cracking) computer whiz who provides a crucial dose not only of humour but also of humanity here. “She was like, “give me another year, please”. Call it a hunch but “Vacation’ will receive precious little repeat business while this action-packed thrill ride has to be seen more than once just to watch the stunt work”.
Still, Rogue Nation stands up to the rest of the M:I series, in terms of pure entertainment value and filmmaking skill.
That the Syndicate is not attached to one particular nation – it is the “Rogue Nation” of the title – has eerie resonance in today’s world. At this point, Cruise (a buff 53, showing a few crow’s feet but ideally cast) is playing an unconquerable superman, a megalomaniac willing to risk the lives of countless people because he believes in his own infallibility.
