Tom Hardy And His Wife Charlotte Riley Are Expecting Their First Child

Hardy also bow-wowed the blue carpet with a second date: his dog Woody.

Bump drop! Tom Hardy’s wife, actress Charlotte Riley, is pregnant and expecting the couple’s first child together, they revealed at the Legend film premiere in London, on Thursday, September 3.

Tom already has a seven-year-old son Louis from a previous relationship with Rachael Speed and has spoken in the past about how he has “great pride” in fatherhood. Tom’s cute and all, but we think you’ll agree that Woody stole the show.

Hardy plays the infamous gangster twins Ronnie and Reggie Kray in the film, based on the John Pearson book The Profession Of Violence: The Rise and Fall Of The Kray Twins.

According to Shortlist Magazine, Tom said that it’s “the hardest thing that I’ve ever done, technically” as the actor takes on the role of two.

Ronnie and Reggie, who also mingled with the rich and famous, were sent to jail for life for murder convictions in 1969 and died in 1995 and 2000 respectively.

Scribe and helmer Brian Helgeland greeted fans and press, accompanied by talent Emily Browning, Christopher Eccleston and David Thewlis.

But Tom Hardy is not like most stars.

His make-up routine was significantly quicker than Hardy’s but he was astonished by how much he looked like his late grandfather when dressed as his alter ego.

Meanwhile, Variety is reporting that Tom Hardy is a favorite choice to become the next James Bond after the current actor playing the character since 2006, Daniel Craig, is set to end his run.
