AWS jumps into bed with Rackspace?
Meanwhile, Frost & Sullivan principal analyst Dan Rayburn reports that multiple content companies say that Amazon is “quietly asking them about licensing content for a live streaming service”. Cloud Cruiser goes to market directly and indirectly through strategic partners including AWS, Cisco, HP, Microsoft and Rackspace. “We have been impressed with Rackspace’s commitment to include beta customers in their AWS managed service offerings, along with certifying a large number of their technical staff”. “We are excited to show organizations how this can be done with Splunk cloud solutions at AWS re:Invent 2015”.
“Amazon Web Services is removing infrastructure distractions for developers so the focus can now be on their application, and New Relic’s mission is to support the speed, focus, and economics afforded to modern application teams in the cloud”, said Patrick Lightbody, Group VP, Product Management at New Relic. If such risks or uncertainties materialize or such assumptions prove incorrect, the results of Rackspace Hosting could differ materially from those expressed or implied by such forward-looking statements and assumptions. “Key engagements with partners, including Booz Allen Hamilton, make this a reality today, so that security can be built-in to workloads as enterprises continue on their journey to the cloud”. It includes a connector for Amazon Aurora and the launch of Tableau Server listings in AWS marketplace. New Relic assumes no obligation and does not intend to update these forward-looking statements, except as required by law.
