Windows is a distant third when pitted against Android and Apple iOS smartphones, and Microsoft is very aware of its low-single-digit toehold on the competitive market, according to Chief Marketing Officer Chris Capossela.
Microsoft Surface Phone specifications and features: From the rumors we’ve come across so far, the smartphone could sport a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

It’s been a really long time since we’re hearing about Microsoft’s Surface Phone.
Ever since Microsoft made their own Surface tablets, there has been talks that Microsoft might also be interested in creating their own Surface phones. Capossella says this new phone will be “some sort of spiritual equivalent” for the company’s Surface tablet “that doesn’t just feel like a phone for people who like Windows”. In the same interview, he did ask fans to have some patience as the company needs some more time to build it.
As per previous reports the Microsoft Lumia 650 is expected to launch either in January or February next year. However Microsoft CMO, Chris Capossela gave an indirect hint regarding the existence of the Lumia 650 in a recent Windows Weekly Podcast.
