Torrents Time is the real successor to Popcorn Time

Torrents Time, which is a plugin for Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome on OS X and Windows, now allows users to stream their favourite videos right from the Pirate Bay website.

The Popcorn Time team also notes that the changes should allow users to stream videos directly from the website to other outlets such as Airplay, Chromecast, and DLNA.

“Pirate Bay is more like sugar – it’s bad for you but you can’t stop using it. Bad because you get sued for it”. The embedded technology is still in its BETA phase however, users interested in the feature are required to install the update and stream. No need to worry about external torrent clients, or downloading content. Bingo.

Kickass Torrents, a rival to the Pirate Bay, is reportedly working to add support for the plugin on its own site.

While Torrents Time is a free plugin but it will eventually be built to serve advertisements to users as a form of monetization.

As The Pirate Bay allows torrent streaming now, the Torrents Time plug-in will prompt a similar warning as soon as you attempt torrent streaming.

Features of Torrents Time provides users with the ability to view video torrents within a very short time depending on the speed of the Internet connection.
